This holiday season, the Watertown Mall will host a distribution center for the Marine Corps Toys for Tots program.
The Mall sent out the following information:
From November 17-26, drop off toys in the mall office, located near the RMV. From Nov. 27-Dec. 15, drop-off bins will be located at Santa’s Village, near Carter’s and Target.
Toys for Tots was founded by a member of the U.S. Marine Corps in 1947 to provide Christmas gift to children whose parents could not afford to buy presents. The goal of the program is to give hope to those children, bring local communities together during the holiday season, and to help develop the values of the less fortunate children. So far, the Foundation has distributed over 494 million toys to over 230 million children across the United States.
Please join the Watertown Mall in giving back to the community and helping to provide hope and joy for the children of the Watertown area this holiday season. To participate, please bring only new, unwrapped toys to the drop-off location listed above from Nov. 17-Dec. 15 (mall office until Nov. 26, Santa’s Village on or after Nov. 27).
