Chicago-based Intelligentsia Coffee, which also has coffee bars in Los Angeles and New York, appears to be headed for Watertown.

The craft coffeemakers have been advertising job openings on Sprudge.com. The openings were first reported on Eater Boston last week. The company is seeking a “retail educator,” a retail store manager, and a sales executive.

No word on where Intelligentsia would be located.

The company started in Chicago in 1995 when the founders, Doug Zell and Emily Mange wanted to create a coffee bar which roasted its own coffee. Today, the company still focuses on farm-to-roaster-to-cup coffee.

Last year, Intelligentsia was bought by Peet’s Coffee & Tea.

The company faces a lawsuit from its former CEO, who said the founders owe him $15 million.
