Senior Living, LLC, owner and operator of The Residence at Watertown Square located at 20 Summer Street in Watertown is pleased to announce the selection of Shauna Bennett as the community’s Resident Engagement Director.

The community includes Independent, Assisted and Reflections Memory Care options for local seniors. Ms. Bennett received her BA in Psychology at Westfield State College in Westfield. While studying at WSC, she worked as an intern at the Arbor House in Holyoke where she began to plan and implement activity programs.

After graduating, Ms. Bennnett held a position as the Assistant Director of Activities at Blueberry Hill Skilled Nursing and Rehab in Beverly for two years. She then moved to become Activities Director for four years at Sophia Snow Place, an Independent and Supportive Senior Living Community located in West Roxbury, MA. Ms. Bennett is currently enrolled in a graduate program at Salem State University where she is working towards her Master’s Degree in Occupational Therapy.

Independent Living residents at The Residence at Watertown Square have private apartments with a kitchenette and bath, along with the peace of mind of 24-hour security, three nutritious meals prepared and served “Anytime Dining” style on-site, fitness center, available laundry and cleaning services, a full activities program, building and grounds maintenance, and a host of optional services. Assisted Living residents have all of the above, along with assistance with the activities of daily living, including dressing, bathing medication reminders, and other services.

The community also includes LCB’s renowned Reflections Memory Care services for residents with Alzheimer’s disease and other memory impairments. In addition to offering sophisticated cognitive programming and a range of daily services, Reflections is a secure, safe environment with its own common areas, walking courtyard, and other amenities.

All programming was developed in collaboration with the Harvard Medical School and Brigham & Women’s Hospital.
