A pair of Watertown sisters made the Boston Globe’s 2016 All-Scholastic Field Hockey team, and one was named the top player in Div. 2.

Senior Kourtney Kennedy and junior Jonna Kennedy both made the Globe’s list of best field hockey players, and Kourtney received the Div. 2 Player of the Year honor for the second year in a row.

Kourtney, who will play field hockey for UConn next year, never lost a high school game and was part of four straight state championships with the Raiders. She scored 43 goals and added 27 assists this year and was named the Middlesex MVP. Kennedy ended her career with 112 goals and 92 assists.

Jonna allowed only seven goals this season helping Watertown win its eighth-straight title. She has already committed to play for Boston College.
