A celebration for the life of Rose M. (Yannino) DiZacomo will be held on Monday January 30, 2017 in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown at 11 a.m.

Mrs. DiZacomo passed away in her home on Wednesday morning after a long period of declining heath. She is a daughter of the late Frank and Maria (Parise) Yannino. She was 85.

Born in Roxbury, her family moved to Newton, then to Watertown at a very early age. She attended Watertown Schools. Rose was an avid gardener, loved Christmas and all the decorating, she loved shopping (mostly to browse) and she had a room dedicated to Elvis Presley. Rose worked as a supervisor at the Boston University Book Store.

She was the beloved wife of the late Arthur H. DiZacomo. Devoted mother of Jo-Anne Little-Pineda of Watertown, Marylou Johnson & her husband Robert of Bradford and Anita Mascetti & her husband Joseph of Watertown. Loving grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Barry M. Little, Jr., Kristina M. Pooler, Jesse M. Little, Rebecca M. Little, Herbie R. Pineda, Jr., Andrew F. Mascetti, Anthony J. Mascetti, Matea R. Pineda, Phoebe C. Johnson, Jared N.Q. Johnson and Patrick Mascetti. Great grandmother of Damien M. Little and Coby Seguin. Dear sister of Nancy L. Yannino of Watertown and the late Anthony J. Yannino.

Funeral from the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown on Monday Jan. 30, at 10 a.m., followed by Funeral Mass in the Church of St. Patrick, 212 Main St. at 11 a.m. Relatives and friends kindly invited.

Visiting hours Sunday from 3-7 p.m.

Interment St. Patrick Cemetery.
