The Watertown Mall has some fun activities coming up this month, including some Halloween activities.

Celebrate Little Golden Books’ 75th Birthday
Celebrate Little Golden Books’ 75th Birthday with the Watertown Family Network at the Watertown Mall on Wednesday, October 18 at 10 a.m.! Join the Watertown Family Network and the Watertown Mall to celebrate Little Golden Book’s 75th birthday and hear the stories that we all grew up with as children. There will be songs, stories and surprises for kids of all ages. We will be raffling off Little Golden Books to add to your collection! The Watertown Family Network is a grant-funded program of the Massachusetts Department of Education and care run through the Watertown Public Schools.
The Watertown Family Network continues to partner with The Watertown Mall to provide fun and educational programs for children of all ages. This event is open to ALL AGES and is FREE. It will take place near Carter’s.
26th Annual Scarecrow Contest
Join the fun! Watertown Mall is hosting its 26th Annual Scarecrow Contest. Any individual, family, group, school, class, business or organization is invited to enter a scarecrow in our contest. Scarecrows can have a theme, or just be imaginative. Scarecrows are displayed throughout Watertown Mall from October 16, 2017 through October 31, 2017. Watertown Mall shoppers vote for their favorite scarecrow to determine the winning entries. This year, there are three opportunities to win! Third place receives a $50 Watertown Mall Gift Certificate, Runner Up receives a $100 Watertown Mall Gift Certificate and the Grand Prize Winner receives a $200 Watertown Mall Gift Certificate, redeemable at all
Watertown Mall stores. There is no entry fee.
Create a unique scarecrow with your friends, family or co-workers. This is the perfect opportunity to bring people together, challenge your creativity, work as a team, learn and have a lot of fun! It also provides great exposure for your group, organization, or business.
Halloween Costume Storytime
Costume Story Time with the Watertown Free Public Library on Wednesday, October 25, 2017 at 10 a.m.! Get your costumes ready for our Halloween Costume Storytime at the Watertown Mall. Kids of all ages are invited to get dressed up and show off their creative, spooky and adorable costumes and enjoy Halloween stories read by Kathleen from the Watertown Free Public Library! Dress up and have a spooktacular time as we celebrate Halloween here at the mall. This event is free and
will take place near Carters.
Trick or Treating at the Watertown Mall!
Trick-or- Treating on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. Start your Trick or Treating at the Watertown Mall on Halloween night! The mall will be hosting trick or treating for all children from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. on October 31! Participating stores will be handing out candy and treats for all little ghouls and goblins in costume! Make sure to add the mall to your trick or treat route to show off your costume and get all the treats you can. This event is FREE and will take place at participating stores.
