A statue at St. Patrick’s Cemetery was knocked over and shattered on Nov. 7. A reward has been offered for the identities of the culprits.

Two area funeral homes have joined together to offer a $2,000 reward for the identity of the person or people who knocked over a statue and several headstones at St. Patrick’s Cemetery last week.

On Nov. 7, the vandalism was discovered. Along with seven tipped headstones a statue on the monument to the Marist Missionary Sisters was knocked over and shattered. The Marist Sisters are located near St. Luke’s Church in Belmont.

The Brasco & Son’s Funeral Home of Waltham/Belmont and Joyce Funeral Home of Waltham have offered a combined reward of $2,000.00 reward for any information leading to the identity of the person(s) responsible for the damage caused at Saint Patrick’s Cemetery, Watertown Police announced.
