It is to be reminded that there are scholarships and funds created because, by and for extraordinary people like for example: Patrol Officer Sean A. Collier. Early this year a new Memorial Fund was established in his honor [http://boston.cbslocal.com/2017/01/19/sean-collier-memorial-fund-police-academy/] and a scholarship in his memory, at Salem State University, is close to reaching the endowment level.
