You can get rid of all those branches and leaves that blew down over the winter soon because Watertown’s first yard waste collection of the year will be during the first week of April. There is a change, however, in the day you put out your bags.
April 2-6 will be the first time in 2018 for residents to put out yard waste. Unlike past years, however bags will be picked up on the same day that your trash is collected.
The change comes with the Town’s new trash/recycling contract.
In past years, yard waste was collected on the Friday of yard waste weeks.
