Belmont Savings Bank announced today it is sponsoring this year’s Watertown Concert Series on Aug. 2 and 16. This is the first year that the bank is sponsoring the program.
Each program will take place at Saltonstall Park in Watertown, beginning at 6:30 pm. (The performances should conclude around 8 p.m.). In case of weather, the alternative rain venue will be the Watertown Free Public Library.
On Aug. 2, Jay Psaros Band will be performing. August 16’s performance will be Brian Munger and His Well Known Guns.
The bank will be providing free snacks to attendees. In addition to the snacks, the bank will be raffling a Bose speaker at each event, as well.
The Town’s free concerts series is in its 19th year and will be held on Thursday nights beginning June 28, with the last concert on Aug. 16.

Brian Munger performs original music in a classic acoustic rock style, as well as covers. He has been a professional musician throughout New England for many years and has been the opening act for Richie Havens, The Marvelettes and Joyce Anderson.
