Watertown Recreation will team with a local dance studio to present dance classes for children and adults.
The Recreation Department provided the following information:
Aladdin Kids Dance Camp
Come learn fun Dance/Broadway/Hip Hop routines to “One Jump” and “Prince Ali” from Aladdin. This course will allow students to learn beginner/intermediate age appropriate choreography, try different styles of dance, enhance presentation skills, learn the basics of being on stage, and gain self- confidence. No experience necessary.
Who: Grades: 3 – 5
When: Thursdays, February 13, 2020 – May 14, 2020 (Meets once a week for 10 weeks). No program: 2/20, 3/19, 4/2, 5/7
Optional Performance: May 17
Time: 6:00pm – 6:45pm
Where: Ballroom in Boston, 100 Parker Street, Watertown
Fee: $150.00 Residents $175.00 Non-Residents

Dance Lessons
Enjoy two months of unlimited drop-in group classes, including dances ranging from salsa to swing, tango to waltz and more! No partner or experience necessary, perfect for beginners. Beginner classes are available on both weekdays and weekends. Once you have learned a few of the basic dance steps from the unlimited drop-in group classes, you can schedule your own private lesson to learn more about the dance of your choice.
Registration is on first come first serve basis.
Who: Adults (ages 18+)
When: This two-month membership is available for a start date of February 1, or March 1, or April 1, 2020
Time: Classes are offered at various times.

Line Dance
Want to dance but don’t want to worry about finding a partner? We have you covered! Join our beginner-friendly line dance class. We’ll take you through fun and easy to learn line dances to a variety of music styles. We have something for everyone. No experience necessary. Registration is on first come first serve basis. Minimum of 10 Students to hold the class.
Who: Adults (ages 18+)
When: Mondays, February 10, 2020 – March 30, 2020 (Meets once a week for 8 weeks)
Time: 6:00pm – 6:45pm
Where: Ballroom in Boston, 100 Parker Street, Watertown
Fee: $80.00 Residents $100.00 Non-Residents
