The Watertown Recreation Director Peter Centola sent out the following announcement:
The Department of Recreation is pleased to announce to start of RECREATION SURVIVOR SERIES beginning Thursday, December 10.
Weather permitting, we will offer a different activities on our Victory Artificial Turf Field each Tuesday – Friday afternoons.
We might even use the Victory Track, Basketball, Tennis Courts and Casey Rink on some occasions as well.
Signups in advance are mandatory, space is limited and based on first come, first serve.
The activity will be different each day and signups will be on a daily basis.
The standard time will be 3:30 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. on most occasions, unless otherwise identified.
We are going to start with flag football 3-5 on Thursday and 6-8 on Friday, but we are certainly looking for ideas for next week and beyond.

Other activities could include a relay race on the track, obstacle course, basketball shoot outs, other games and athletic tournaments.
Please send your ideas so we can schedule them.
We are still trying to fill some of our programs, and I have included the Winter Session I Brochure – updated 12-8-20.
I have included the Daily Health Survey Sheet which needs to be filled out and submitted each day.
As a reminder, the Victory Turf Field is open for free play each day from 8:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Standard COVID19 protocol is mandatory: Face Coverings, Social Distancing when appropriate, hand and equipment sanitization are critical.
