For the second time this season, Bridgewater State University junior Abbi Peterson has been selected as the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) Women’s Indoor Field Athlete of the Week.
A native of Watertown, Massachusetts, Peterson placed third in the high jump this past weekend at the Springfield College Massasoit Classic with a Division III New England Championships qualifying leap of five feet, 3.25 inches (1.61m).
Peterson currently ranks tenth in all of Division III in the high jump and fifth in New England.
The BSU indoor track & field teams are back in action on Saturday when the Bears compete at the Branwen Smith-King Invitational hosted by Tufts University.
