Watertown Group Hosts Vigil in Memory of Renee Good

The following information was provided by Indivisible Progressive Watertown:

On Saturday morning, Jan. 10th, Indivisible Progressive Watertown hosted an emergency vigil in memory of Renee Nicole Good who was murdered by ICE agents in Minneapolis on Jan. 7th.

Over 300 people attended the peaceful vigil in Watertown Square with signs remembering Renee Good and expressing their disapproval of Immigrant and Customs Enforcement (ICE) actions across the country and in support of Democracy.

ICE OUT OF WATERTOWN: Two standouts in solidarity with immigrants targeted by ICE will be held on Saturdays, Jan. 17th, and Feb. 14th, from 10 – 11 a.m. in Watertown Square.  All are welcome to attend these peaceful, non-violent protests.

  1. God Bless You for Stepping up for Democracy. I have not been visible standing out for justice; however, I respect and am with you in the quest to ensure that our Rights are not simply on a paper. It is important that we do not bow to those who act outside of Constitutional norms.

  2. Nice to see all these people out to give a visual and voice against the attacks going on by the felon presidents evil forces who are attacking American democracy and the rule of law and order. The president is abducting, torturing and murdering people and it is up to all of us to stop it.
    The path to justice requires the action and voices of the brave and peaceful true patriots.
    Not the traitors who stormed the capital on Jan. 6th. Not the forces of ICE.
