The following announcement was provided by the City of Watertown:

The City of Watertown’s Community Design Division presents “A Pleasant Landscape,” a new public art exhibition featuring six local artists. The artworks, printed on six-by-twelve-foot banners, will be installed on the fence surrounding the former Sterritt Lumber site at 138 Waltham Street while the property undergoes redevelopment.

Artists were invited to submit work inspired by the theme of “A Pleasant Landscape,” drawing inspiration from the nearby Pleasant Street corridor and the Charles River. The featured artists are Vitoria Regia, Uriel Kaufman, S.T. Romano, Not Art, Cynthia White, and Dominic Killiany. You can learn more by visiting the online StoryMap about the artwork: https://arcg.is/ySeXi1.

The community is invited to a reception and walk to celebrate the artists on Thursday, October 16, from 1-2 p.m. at 138 Waltham St. The event is part of Live Well Watertown’s ongoing Watertown Walks series.
