Drainage will be installed along Russell Street and Broadway for the Watertown High School project. There will be lane closures from Monday to Wednesday this week. See info provided by Vertex, Watertown’s project manager, below.
Please be aware that a drainage liner will be installed on Monday 11/24 from Russell St along the lower portion of Broadway to the drain manhole at 24 Broadway. The duration of this work is expected to take 3 days and will require a one lane closure on Broadway from Monday, 11/24/25 thru 11/26/25. Parking will be restricted and one lane will be blocked. This will occur 8am – 5PM. Access will be maintained for through traffic and all abutters with a detail present.
Also, please be aware that Saturday work will be ongoing through the end of November with both interior and exterior site work. Work is restricted to an 8 a.m. start on Saturdays.
The site will be closed on Thanksgiving Day, 11/27 and per the Town recognized holiday on Friday, 11/28/25, work will not start until 8 a.m.
