A Funeral Mass for John J. Quinn will be celebrated in the Church of St. Luke’s,
Belmont at 9 a.m. on Saturday July 29, 2017. Mr. Quinn passed away in the Mount Auburn Hospital after a brief illness on
Tuesday July 25, 2017 surrounded by family. He was 85. Born in Boston, John grew up in Watertown, graduating from Watertown High
School, class of 1949.
A Funeral Service for Glen Vernon Robley will be held on Wednesday July 26, 2017 at 11 a.m. in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown
Mr. Robley, a son of the late George Harold Robley Jr. and Christine June (Merlin) Robley passed away in Merrimack, N.H., on Saturday evening after a long illness with leukodystrophy. Glen was 55. Glen was a graduate of Watertown High School and after High School he received his degree from the New England School of Art and Design. He worked as an apparel designer in the clothing industry. He is survived by his daughter Leah of N.H. Loved by his family Dawn Siemonsma and brother in law Mark of California, Linda Laszecki of Pennsylvania and brother Gary of Watertown.
A visitation will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home at 270 Main St. Watertown on Thursday July 27th, 2017 from 11 a.m.–1 p.m. for Donna Gail (Stanton) Burton. Mrs. Burton passed away in her home on Friday evening, July 21, 2017 surrounded by her family after a lengthy illness. She was 72. A daughter of the Walter and Evelyn (Power) Stanton.
Watertown’s Paul Menton, who served as a judge and a state representative for the town, died on July 16, 2017. He was a lifelong resident of Watertown and left high school to join the Marines to serve in the Pacific during World War II. Menton became a lawyer and then served Watertown in the State Legislature for a dozen years as the town’s State Representative. He was appointed Associate Justice of the Cambridge District Court in 1986 and he served until he was 70. Menton was also active in town, on the School Building Committee, Historical Commission, Fair Housing Committee and School Committee.
A Funeral Mass for Victoria Elizabeth Brezoska will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Miss Brezoska passed away in the Golden Pond Nursing Center, Hopkinton on Sunday evening, July 16, 2017 after a long period of declining health. She was 96. A graduate of Newton High School, class of 1938. She also received a degree at the Florence Utt School of Key Punching.
A prayer service for Donald E. Kelley, Sr. will be celebrated on the Thursday evening at 6 p.m. in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown. Mr. Kelley, a son of the late Charles E. Kelley and Genevieve A. (Fordan) Kelley passed away on Friday July 14, 2017 in St. Joseph Hospital in Nashua, New Hampshire. Donald was 81. Donald was born Newton, MA and raised in Watertown.
A Funeral Mass for Mary T. (O’Reilly) Fahey, will be celebrated on Friday July 7, 2017 at 9 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Mary passed away in her home on Friday evening after a brief illness. She was 70. Mary was the devoted mother of Theresa Fahey McGoldrick & her husband Timothy of Watertown, Julia Fahey Slattery & her husband Patrick of Brighton and James M. Fahey of Watertown. Loving grandmother of Emma & Matthew McGoldrick and Ronan & Malachy Slattery.
