A Funeral Mass for Gertrude Catherine (Creedon) Broderick will be celebrated on Monday December 30, 2019 in the Church of Saint Patrick – Watertown at 12:30 p.m.

Mrs. Broderick, a daughter of the late William J. and Gertrude C. (Boylen) Broderick, passed away at the Meadow Green Nursing Facility, Waltham, on Christmas Eve, December 24 after many years of declining health. She was 93. Gertrude was born in Boston and graduated from Girls Latin School, Boston. She went on to graduate from Emmanuel College, class of 1948 and received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Harvard/Radcliffe in 1949. She taught at Newton High School and became the Principal of Newton South until 1968.

A Funeral Mass for James A. “Jimmy” Dicker will be celebrated on Monday Dec. 16, 2019 in St. Patrick Church, Watertown at 11 a.m.

Mr. Dicker passed away suddenly Wednesday morning December 11th.  He was 69. Jimmy was known for his infectious smile and laugh. As a loving “Beepa” he faithfully attended all of his grandchildren’s events and celebrations and never missed a family get together. Jimmy proudly wore his neon yellow vest every morning as he helped the children of Watertown get to school safely.

Loretta Marie (Menelly) Barba of Watertown died on Jan. 22, 2019, at the age of 93. Beloved wife for 56 years of the late Michael V. Barba. Devoted mother of Janet B. Brown and her husband Richard of Gardner; Sandra Pacheco and her husband John of Washington, D.C.; Paul G. Barba and his wife Maureen of Gardner; Diane E. Neylon and her husband John and Richard J. Barba and his wife Theresa, all of Watertown; Vincent J. Barba and his wife Judi of Franklin; and the late Michael V. Barba, Jr.

Dear sister of the late Robert Menelly and his wife Carmen and Philip Menelly and his wife Connie. Also loved by 25 grandchildren (including the late Benjamin & Michael Pacheco) and 13 great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Mass for Ryan James Eaton will be celebrated on Thursday July 24th at 10:30 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Born at the Winchester Hospital, Ryan was a life long resident of Watertown. A graduate of the Minuteman Technical High School, Lexington, Class of 2014. Ryan was enrolled in the Culinary Institute of America College in Hyde Park, NY. He was 18 years of age.
