As the temperatures rose to dangerous levels in the first week of July, a group in Watertown leapt into action delivering air conditioners to those who need them, and which had been donated by other residents.

I write to express my sincere appreciation to the volunteers, donors and voters who made it possible for me to win re-election to the Town Council. We came in a very strong second, winning six of the 12 precincts. It was a wonderful showing – thank you.
While doing some sewer work in the area of Watertown Square, the Department of Public Works discovered a forgotten culvert running right through the town’s biggest intersection.
The Town Council will be discussing proposed zoning changes that would create a Regional Mixed Use District (RMUD) in the area near the Arsenal Project, Watertown Mall and other parts of East Watertown. They will also take public comment.
