Sidewalks Closing on Common Street for High School Project

The project managers for the Watertown High School project, Vertex, announced that a portion of the sidewalk near the high school construction site will be closed temporarily.

The second annual Watertown Eco Fest will feature activities including electric bike test rides, vendors of sustainable products, activities for kids, and more. The event, hosted by the City of Watertown, will also include representatives from City departments and community organizations focused on sustainability.

Watertown’s school budget will increase by $2 million, and additions include music teachers, math and literacy tutors, English as a second language teachers, and financial assistance to help all students go on field trips and school trips.
Through the month of April, Watertown is showing off its artistic side during the annual YardArt exhibition. Organizers have put together some tours of this year’s front-yard artwork.
