Man Refuses to Stop Honking Horn, Gets Arrested on OUI Charge
|
An driver paid for his impatience and was arrested on an OUI charge after he would not stop blowing his horn when a police officer asked.
On Dec. 8 at 4:27 p.m., an officer was directing traffic after an accident at Galen Street and Nonantum Road when he heard a driver blowing his horn non-stop. As the vehicle approached the officer the driver continued to lean on the horn. The officer said there was an accident with injuries and told him he should stop blowing his horn, said Watertown Police Lt. Michael Lawn. “The operator stopped, threw his hands in the air and stared at the officer,” Lawn said.
