Sept. 3, 10:25 p.m.: Target security spotted a man take several items off the shelf and put them into a duffle bag. When he was stopped, the man had headphones, a utility knife and other items. He also took the bag from the store. In total, the merchandise was worth $251.96.

Aug. 26, 8:50 p.m.: Police encountered a woman on Melendy Avenue who was known to have a warrant for her arrest. The 41-year-old Watertown woman was arrested on the warrant from Waltham District Court for trespassing. Aug.

Aug. 19, 11:02 p.m.: An officer patrolling on School Street ran a query of a plate of a nearby vehicle and found that the registered owner had a warrant for her arrest. The vehicle was pulled over and the officer confirmed the owner was driving. The 38-year-old Roslindale resident was arrested on the warrant from Suffolk County Juvenile Court for failure to send a child to school.

Aug. 14, 11:14 p.m.: An officer in the area of Main and Oakland streets saw a vehicle in which the driver was seen slumped at the wheel and appeared to be either asleep or unconscious. When they woke the woman, police checked her record and found that she had a warrant for her arrest. The 26-year-old Boston woman was arrested on the warrant from Wrentham District Court for shoplifting.

July 1, 1:16 a.m.: An officer in Watertown Square saw a man who appeared to be sleeping in the ATM vestibule at Santander Bank in Watertown Square. The officer woke the man and spoke to him. It was discovered that the man had a warrant for his arrest. The 61-year-old homeless man was arrested on the default warrant from Waltham District court for failure to pay court fines and costs.

June 18, 7:43 a.m.: A man came into the Police Station because he believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers confirmed that the man was wanted on a warrant from Waltham District Court from 1992. The 51-year-old man from West Valley, Utah, was arrested on a total of four warrants from Waltham District Court, Cambridge District Court and Stoughton District Court. June 20, 8:42 a.m.: Police responded to a call for a man who was trespassing at the Watertown Housing building on Waverley Avenue.

June 13, 2:17 p.m.: An employee at Sasaki Associates on Pleasant Street called 911 after an uninvited man was acting strangely inside the business. The man was seen walking around inside Sasaki’s offices and when he was confronted he became belligerent and used racial slurs. He then left and headed down the nearby Charles River Walk. An employee got a photo of the man and police were able to locate him on Pleasant Street near Howard Street.

Dec. 24, 8:15 p.m.: An officer on Main Street encountered a man near Evans Street. While speaking with the man, the officer determined that the man had three active warrants. The 25-year-old Watertown man was arrested on three warrants from Waltham District Court, each for making a false 911 call.
