Police Log: Man Caught with Meth & Pills, Driver Unsuccessfully Tries to Evade Officers

June 18, 7:43 a.m.: A man came into the Police Station because he believed he had a warrant for his arrest. Officers confirmed that the man was wanted on a warrant from Waltham District Court from 1992. The 51-year-old man from West Valley, Utah, was arrested on a total of four warrants from Waltham District Court, Cambridge District Court and Stoughton District Court. June 20, 8:42 a.m.: Police responded to a call for a man who was trespassing at the Watertown Housing building on Waverley Avenue.

Police Log: Woman Caught Breaking into Childcare Center, Multiple Vehicles Vandalized

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Sept. 25, 5:30 p.m.: A woman attempted to return a bag of clothing to Marshall’s but store security recognized her from incidents at other stores so she was not allowed to return the clothing. The woman then walked around the store for 2-3 hours and placed items in a bag. She walked past the registers and left the store without paying.

Police Log: Man Hits Home With Car Repeatedly, Misunderstanding Over Uber

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Feb. 17, 4:40 p.m.: Police stopped a vehicle on Pleasant Street for crossing over marked lanes, and having improper inspection. When police spoke to the woman they discovered she had an arrest warrant in her name. The 44-year-old Newton woman was arrested on the warrant from Brookline District Court for traffic offenses.

Police Log: Traffic Stop Finds Cocaine, Clothes Stolen From Moving Couple

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Aug. 3, 10:36 p.m.: A Dexter Avenue resident called to report a man who had followed them home from a restaurant after they had gotten into an argument with him. The suspect left the area when police arrived. Officers followed him and pulled him over on Laurel Street for failing to signal when turning.
