Lucy (Cincotta) Ambrose, 89, of Watertown.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown on Friday at 9 a.m. for Lucy M. (Cincotta) Ambrose.
Mrs. Ambrose was born in Rollinsford, New Hampshire, a daughter of the late Philip and Mary (Defino) Ambrose. She died in her home after a period of declining health, surrounded by family. She was 89.
Lucy was the beloved wife of the late Samuel S. Ambrose. Devoted mother of Priscilla M. English of Chelmsford, Nancy C. Covino of Watertown & Samuel S. Ambrose, Jr. of Florida. Loving grandmother of Patrice Brennan, Gina Covino, Rachel English-DiGiovine & Nicholas English. Great Grandmother of Tiffany & Stephen Brennan and Domenic & Damien DiGiovine. Dear sister of Marlene Dooley of Burlington, Thomas Cincotta of Florida and the late John Cincotta, Felix Cincotta, Charles Cincotta, Josephine Chick, Angelina Tapscott, Palmina Cincotta, Marion Minnehan, Katherine Reynolds, Grace Wadman, Margaret Cairnes & Rose Jacques. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, and friends including Michael Wilson.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Friday at 9 AM in the Church of St. Patrick 212 Main St., Watertown. Visiting hours Thursday 4-8 PM in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, 270 Main St., Watertown. Interment private.
