Quilters’ Connection presents “Connected Threads” at the Watertown Library, featuring traditional quilting to modern mayhem.

Join three members of Quilters’ Connection as they share the diversity of modern quilting
and invite you to become part of the fun. The speakers will be RoseMary Bilezikian Gabonlyian
Koch on traditional quilting, Susan V. Polansky on pictorial collage quilts, and Julie Fei-Fan Balzer on playful surface design.

Quilters’ Connection is a 42-year-old quilting guild that meets at St. James Armenian Church on Mount Auburn Street. The current membership is 190 people, mostly drawn from eastern Massachusetts and with numerous Watertown citizens among them. Quilters’ Connection is open to anyone interested.  Members include all genders, sewers and non-sewers, LGBTQ individuals, and people of different ethnicities, faiths, and cultures.

Fall Library programs are funded by a grant from the Watertown Community Foundation to Quilters’ Connection and in collaboration with the Watertown Free Library and HATCH.
