The project managers for the Watertown High School construction project announced that lanes will be closed on Common Street for utility work beginning Monday.
The section impacted will be from Columbia Street past Spring Street and Marion Road. The following announcement was provided by Vertex, the owner’s project manager for the WHS project.
“Progress associated with the Underground Utility Work surrounding the High School Project Site has been advancing steadily. Work along Common Street has been coordinated to begin today. Please see the attached logistics and details for the WHS utility work in Common Street which will be taking place during normal business hours, resuming on Monday 10/30/23 at 7am thru Friday 11/10/23. Please see (the photo above) showing an overview of street activity which is scheduled to take place during normal business hours with police details to assist residents for access as needed. Sidewalks will remain available throughout this work as well.”
