OBIT: Donald Burton, 74, Boston Herald Maintenance Supervisor, Grew Up in Nova Scotia

A graveside service for Donald G. Burton will be celebrated by the family at Ridgelawn Cemetery at a later date. Mr. Burton, a son of the late Donald and his living mother Rose (Martell) Burton, passed away after a brief illness in his home on Friday evening, March 23, 2018. Don was 74. Donald was educated in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada where he grew up. He came to the states after schooling and worked as a maintenance supervisor for the Boston Herald.

A visitation for Peter John Hennrikus will be held on Thursday March 22, 2018 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home in Watertown. Mr. Hennrikus, a son of Pauline Theresa (Purcell) Hennrikus and the late James Edward Hennrikus passed away Sunday morning in Watertown after a two-year battle with cancer. Peter was 57. He graduated from Watertown High School in 1979, where he was the co-captain of the high school basketball team. He worked for C&K Components in Newton, MA for many years.

Grace M. Sperandio of Watertown died on February 25, 2018 at the age of 95. Grace was born on January 8, 1923, in East Boston and lived in Watertown for
over 80 years and Newport, Rhode Island for 8 years. The daughter of the late
Concetta (Clericuzio) and Giovanni DeFilippo, Grace graduated from Watertown
High School in 1940 and later attended Katherine Gibbs School. She married the late Celio (Chic) Sperandio and raised four children. She later worked at the Underwood Company and the Coolidge Bank & Trust, both in Watertown.

A Funeral Mass for Mary Frances Thompson (Farrell) will be celebrated on Friday February 2, 2018 at 9:00 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. A daughter of the late George Joseph Farrell and Mary Katherine Farrell (O’Reilly). Mary passed away surrounded by her family Saturday morning. She was 83. She was a devoted parishioner of Saint Patrick Parish in Watertown.

A Funeral mass will be celebrated on Thursday, February 1, 2018 in the Church of
Saint Patrick, Watertown at 9 a.m. for Mary Alice (Jacques) McCauley.Mrs. McCauley, a daughter of the late Frank Leo and Yvonne M. (Ricard) Jacques
died in the Park Ave. Rehabilitation Center, Arlington on Saturday evening after a
long period of declining health. She was 82. Mary was born in Waltham, grew up in Weston, graduating from Weston High
School, class of 1953. Mary was a volunteer at Cunniff School, former member of
Cunniff School PTA, former CCD teacher, former brownie and former Girl Scout
Leader. Mary and her husband, Jim, were very active volunteers in Watertown for
numerous years

She was the beloved wife of the late James W. McCauley.

Jones, Sr. Dear Brother of the late John & Robert Jones. U.S. Navy Veteran, served during the Korean Conflict. Retired employee of MBTA & driver for Inman’s Pharmacy. Devoted father of Michael Jones & his late wife Heidi of ME, Debbie Jones & her fiancé Grant Robinson of California, Linda Kowalec & her husband Joe of Connecticut, David Jones & his wife Melissa of New Hampshire and Laurie Graboski & her husband Steve of Connecticut. Loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 1 great grandson.

A Memorial Funeral Service for Donald H. MacCalmon will be held in the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home on Monday, November 27, 2017 at 12 noon. Mr. MacCalmon, a son of the late Herbert H. MacCalmon and Katherine Christine
(McKinnon) MacCalmon passed away in Boston on Friday afternoon. Donald was
89. Donald served in the United States Army from October of 1946 to August of 1949. During his time in the Army, Donald was a CPL with the 11th Airborne Division and he also received the WWII Victory Medal and the Occupation of Japan Medal.

the MacDonald, Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home, Watertown. Mr. Odom, a son of the late William P. Odom and Ruth Elizabeth (Correll) Odom
passed away in Burlington on Thursday evening after a period of declining health. Daniel was 80. Daniel was born in San Diego and later moved to Watertown where he was a lifelong resident. He held a bachelors degree in physics and worked as an electrical engineer at Raytheon.
