There’s plenty going on in Watertown’s food and drink scene, with a new beer garden, a restaurant headed to a bigger space, and a newish restaurant getting the attention of regional media.

The Watertown High School football team put together back-to-back wins for the first time this season on when the Raiders defeated Boston Latin 17-14. Watertown will seek to extend its winning streak when it returns to Victory Field on Friday.
As the clock ran down at Victory Field Sunday afternoon, Watertown High School’s boys soccer team threw wave after wave and shot after shot at the Pentucket net, but the goal the Raiders desperately needed never came.
The Raiders took control early in the MIAA Div. 2 North Section quarterfinal against Ipswich and rolled to a 5-0 victory on Sunday morning.
A mix of homes sold this week in Watertown.
The Watertown High School boys soccer team came out firing on all cylinders, and rolled past Gloucester, 5-1, in the first round of the MIAA Div. 3 North Section tournament.
The Rotary Club of Watertown is hosting a raffle where the first prize is $10,000 raffle, and tickets are still available.
A 4-0 win over Bishop Fenwick gave the Watertown High School field hockey team a good start in its effort to win the school’s 10th straight MIAA State Championship.
