There’s plenty going on in Watertown’s food and drink scene, with a new beer garden, a restaurant headed to a bigger space, and a newish restaurant getting the attention of regional media.

Watertown’s older residents will have numerous opportunities in September
to experience what it means to live in an age-friendly community, that is, a place that helps older adults remain in town, thrive and contribute.

The Watertown Senior Center has plenty going on in September, including a session on gardens, info on Alzheimer’s and dementia and a number of trips.
The Watertown Department of Public Works provided this update on the construction on the sidewalks and streets around Hosmer School.
A whole bunch of homes sold in Watertown this week.
Starting Tuesday, Sept. 5, Traffic on Main Street will likely be slowed due to construction of a new sidewalk and improvements to a crosswalk between the Watertown Library and the Post Office.
A Funeral Service for Helen Louise (Hazlehurst) Hunt will be celebrated on Wednesday Sept. 5, 2018 at 7:00 p.m. in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home.
