The effort to bring a food co-op to the Watertown area reached a major milestone recently, and has gained momentum in its effort to open a retail store.

Three outstanding Watertown High School athletes made it official Monday, they will be taking their game to the next level. Two field hockey player and a track and cross country runner signed their letters of intent during a ceremony in the Watertown High School Gym.
Two area funeral homes have joined together to offer a $2,000 reward for the identity of the person or people who knocked over a statue and several headstones at St. Patrick’s Cemetery last week.
Watertown’s older residents had many opportunities to engage in a variety of free,
enriching and engaging activities this fall thanks to the Marshall Home Fund.
Watertown’s Superintendent of Schools Dede Galdston announced that parents are invited to an open house at Watertown High School to meet teachers and find out programs offered by the school. Also, she will be hosting a pair of Superintendent’s Coffees where parents and residents can speak with her in an informal setting.
The final Watertown Walks Program of the year, hosted by the Watertown Health Department, will be this week at the Mount Auburn Cemetery.
Nearly a dozen residents of a senior living community in Watertown received United State flag pins in honor of their military service in a ceremony held just days before Veteran’s Day.
