Watertown High School students, alumni, and parents of students who took part in the Armenian language program urged School officials to bolster the program for fear of losing the classes that are more than just about learning a language.

Joshua McKeeHamilton College forward Taylor Lambo received honors from NESCAC and D3hoops.com. Lambo graduated from Watertown High School in 2022.

Hamilton College’s Taylor Lambo ’26 (Watertown, Mass./Watertown HS) was selected the New England Small College Athletic Conference (NESCAC) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week and placed on the D3hoops.com Women’s Team of the Week on Monday, Dec. 5.
James DeMarco grew up in Watertown and became a goaltender at age 5. It’s his life’s passion to stand between the pipes and keep the puck out of the net.

After winning the State Championship for the 20th time, Watertown High School’s field hockey team received praise from the School Committee, and the players were called inspirations who represent the community well.
Robert McCarthy
Retired Watertown Fire Department Captain & Past President of the Professional Fire Fighters of MA Robert B. McCarthy of Watertown, passed away on December 6, 2022, at the age of 77.
Grace Chapel Watertown announced two Christmas Eve services at the church located at 525 Main St. in Watertown.
Several properties are hosting open houses around Watertown over the weekend.
Medford High School and Vocational Technical High School
A committee looking at vocational education options for Watertown students recently created a set of draft recommendations, including that Watertown students apply to Medford’s vocational program and to continue to examine whether the City should join the Minuteman Vocational High School district.
