The area of Arsenal Street near School Street will be repaved beginning this week.

A new ordinance approved by the City Council prohibits restaurants from automatically including plastic utensils with takeout orders, however customers can request these items when they order or pick up their food.

Michael Aiden Cullen
A Funeral Mass for Michael Aiden Cullen will be celebrate on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 in St. Luke Church, Belmont at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Cullen passed away in his Watertown home on Friday evening after a time of failing heath. He was 97.
Watertown senior quarterback Brennan Cook has had multiple touchdown passes in the past two wins for the Raiders.
The Watertown High School football team may have missed the tournament, but the Raiders have found their winning ways. The team heads into the Belmont game on a three game winning streak and with a chance to finish with a winning record.
The Watertown Recreation Department has tickets available for several Boston Bruins and Boston Celtics games this season.

Students at Watertown High School have received grant funding for their robotics team as they work to enhance their skills in science and engineering. Bayer Fund, a philanthropic arm of Bayer, recently awarded a one-time $3,000 grant to Watertown High Robotics Team 2423 to support their participation in the FIRST Robotics program.
Sisters Kourtney (left) and Jonna Kennedy will both be playing in the NCAA Field Hockey Tournament Sunday. Kourtney plays for UConn and Jonna for Boston College.
Sisters Kourtney and Jonna Kennedy will each be competing in the second round of the NCAA Div. I Field Hockey Tournament Sunday, as their teams seek a berth in the Final Four.

The case of convicted Boston Marathon Bomber Dzhokhar Tsarnaev will be in court soon to appeal the conviction, and recently unsealed documents related to the case show that the FBI believes his older brother Tamerlan was a prime suspect in the killing of three men in Waltham in 2011.
