Watertown Man Injured After Being Hit by Truck in Waltham

A 63-year-old man from Watertown went to the hospital after being struck by a truck in Waltham on Wednesday. The accident occurred just before 7 a.m. at the intersection of Main and Bacon streets. The man was taken to hospital and is in critical conditions, according to a report from NBC 10 Boston. The large truck was driven by a 27-year-old man from Norton. No charges have been filed, and the incident remains under investigation.

A man fell off his bicycle on Mt. Auburn Street near Watertown Square Saturday evening, causing traffic delays in the area. The cyclist appeared to have suffered minor injuries, and was taken to hospital by an ambulance, according to a witness. Another witness said the man fell without being touched by another vehicle. He also was described as acting strangely, possibly intoxicated.

Two Injured in Accident on Charles River Road, Infant Not Injured

A man and a woman suffered injuries in an accident on Charles River Road on Monday afternoon, but the infant traveling with them was not harmed. The accident occurred on Monday at about 4:45 p.m. when a 2013 Nissan Sentra drove off the roadway, near Pequossette Street, and struck a light pole, according to Massachusetts State Police spokesman Lt. Tom Ryan. It appeared to be caused because the driver was speeding.
