Roger John Krekorian of Watertown died October 13, 2017 at age 68. Loving father of Tracy Krekorian-Capello (Waltham P.D.) of Waltham and Frank McManus of Watertown. Loving grandfather of Joey Capello. Dear brother of Russell Krekorian & Ronald Krekorian and his wife Ann Vachon. Former husband of Dorothy Kaufman & Wilna Serio.
Ellice T. (Lecie) Lund passed away peacefully on September 3 at the age of 93 in Littleton, MA. She was the beloved wife of the late John S. Lund and devoted mother of daughters, Jo-Anne Lund and husband, David Fox, and Susan Lund and her partner, Amy Bell, and the late Laurie Lund. She was the cherished grandmother of Emily Fox and her husband, Joshua Wigler, and Hudson Bell. Additionally, she is survived by many loving nieces, nephews and friends. An active resident of Watertown for most of her life, Ellice worked at the Cambridge Savings Bank in Harvard Square.
A Funeral Mass for Yolanda F. (Corsi) Pirolli, will be celebrated on Wednesday October 11, 2017 at 9 a.m., in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. A daughter of the late Francesco and Antoinette (DiPaolo) Corsi. Yolanda passed away at the Lasell House in Newton on Friday evening, October 6, 2017 after a period of declining health. She was 95. Yolanda came to the United States from Italy. She married her late husband Michael J. Piroli and brought up her three boys here in Watertown, She and Michael were hard workers together.
David Henneberry, the man who ended the manhunt for one of the Boston Marathon Bombers, died on Sept. 27, 2017, according to the obituary on Legacy.com. Henneberry found Dzhokhar Tsarnaev in his boat, which was parked at his Franklin Street home the day following the shootout at the intersection of Laurel Street and Dexter Avenue. He noticed something strange about his boat when he went out for a smoke shortly after the “shelter in place” order was lifted. He was the husband to the late Elizabeth (Bartlett) Henneberry, and had two step daughters and had a brother, four grand children and a great grandchild.
James E. Fahey, Jr., Esq. of Yarmouth formerly of Watertown August 15, 2017 the age of 75. Devoted father of Theresa Fahey McGoldrick & her husband Timothy of Watertown, Julia Fahey Slattery & her husband Patrick of Brighton and James M. Fahey of Watertown. Loving grandfather of Emma & Matthew McGoldrick and Ronan & Malachy Slattery. Dear brother of Sharon Atkinson of Malden & the late Patricia Duckworth.
Frederick (Fred) Dorey, 75, passed away on August 14, 2017. He was a
Watertown High School graduate (1960) and lived in Los Angeles. Fred is survived by his wife of 33 years, Gail Glick, his son Jeffrey R. Dorey, his wife Erica, and their son Curt Lucas of Seattle, and Fred’s sisters Carol Hurzeler and her husband Richard of Tyler, Texas, Linda Simpson and husband Kenneth of Plano Texas, and Gail Dorey of Watertown. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. He was the son of the late Raymond and Lorraine Dorey of Watertown.
Marion (Cafarella) Zanco, 97, passed away on July 31, 2017. She was most recently a resident of Meadow Green Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Waltham.
Marion was predeceased by her husband of 63 years, Angelo who died July 28, 2007; and her sisters Edith D’Ambrosio, Mary Valenti and brother Thomas Cafarella. She is survived by her son John and his companion Jan Chapman of
Haverhill MA, her grandson Jack and his wife Natalia of Framingham, her longtime caregiver Valerie Fuchu of Tewksbury as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Born in Hyde Park, MA, she was the daughter of the late Domenic and Mariana (Bongiorno) Cafarella.
A Funeral Mass for Lorraine A. LaRose will be celebrated on Thursday morning at 9 a.m. in the Church of Saint Patrick, Watertown. Miss LaRose passed away in Watertown on Sunday evening, July 30, 2017 after a period of declining health. A graduate of St. Patrick High School, class of 1963. She also received a degree at Boston University in 1979.
