A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Friday, May 12th, 2017 in St. Patrick Church, Watertown at 9 a.m. for Phyllis J. Iodice. Ms. Iodice, a daughter of the late Alfonso and Mary (Polignone) Iodice was born in Watertown, MA. She passed away in Waltham on Wednesday, May 10, 2017. She was 96.
Ruth E. Karcher, of Watertown, died May 6, 2017 at age 96. Beloved daughter of the late Gottfried & Adelaide (Debrikowski) Karcher. Devoted sister of Eva Mason of Watertown, and loving aunt to many generations of nieces & nephews. A lifelong resident of Watertown, Ruth worked at the Perkins School for the Blind for many years. Know for her vibrant, outgoing and friendly personality.

Uldo T. Colella of Watertown died on March 17, 2017 at the age of 85. Beloved husband of Natalie M. (Sinatra). Loving father of Matthew F. Colella of Watertown. Dear brother of Rita D. Colella of Watertown and the late Ugo & Santo A. Colella. Also loved by many nieces & nephews.
Watertown Firefighter Joseph Toscano’s life will be celebrated at a Funeral Mass at a church just blocks from the fire station where he spent most of his career.
Toscano’s funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 22 at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church, 212 Main St. in Watertown. Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Tuesday, March 21, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church, 211 N. Main St.
A visitation will be held on Thursday March 16th, 2017 in MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home from 4 to 7 p.m. for Georgina M. Spence. Ms. Spence passed away in Cambridge on Friday morning after a period of declining health. She was the daughter of the late George R. Spence, Sr. & Betty M. Spence (Smith). She was 67. Born in Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, Georgina moved to Watertown at a young age.

Shirley was a daughter of the late Harry & Bertha (Lowe) Hanson. She passed away on February 28, 2017 surrounded by her family after a brief period of declining health. She was 96. Shirley was a life-long resident of Lexington. She graduated from Lexington High School, class of 1938.
