Jan. 26, 7:53 a.m.: A man came into Watertown Towing and was upset about his car being towed. He spoke to an employee and got upset because they would not release the car because it was unregistered. He forcefully pushed past the employee and took a set of keys, but they were not his.

Jan. 17, 11 a.m.: The owner of a Ford F-250 from Waverley Avenue came out and when he turned it a loud noise came from the exhaust system. He looked and noticed the catalytic converter had been cut out from under the truck. He believes it occurred sometime between 7 p.m. on the 16th and 11 a.m. on the 17th.
The Watertown Fire Department extinguished a fire in a home on Mt. Auburn Street on Saturday. Shortly after 6 p.m. on Jan. 22, the Fire Department received a report of smoke in a two-family home on Mt. Auburn Street, according to the Watertown Fire Department’s report.

Jan. 15, 3:05 a.m: An officer patrolling on Main Street near Prescott Street saw a vehicle on the side of the road with its engine running and the turn signal on. When the officer came back 20 minutes later the vehicle was still there with engine and turn signal still on. The officer went over to check on the well-being of the driver, who was slumped in the driver’s seat and appeared to be asleep behind the wheel.
Several Watertown residents were displaced by a fire that started in a car. On Saturday, Jan. 15 at 8:15 a.m. a car fire was reported on Flint Road. A working fire was declared at 8:30 a.m.
“Upon arrival companies found a fully involved vehicle fire with extension into the home,” said the post on the Watertown Fire Department’s Facebook page. Deputy Chief Robert Iannetta ordered a second alarm for the fire, which damaged the 2.5 story two-family home.

Jan. 8, 8 a.m.: Police responded to a call from Home Depot about a shoplifter. A man was seen concealing several tools in a trash bag and left the store without paying. The tools were worth $459.99.

Dec. 28, 8:28 a.m.: On Dec. 27 at about 8 p.m police received a call from Dunkin’ in Watertown Square about a man causing a disturbance by yelling at customers. The man continued to cause a disturbance after police arrived.
Someone threw a traffic cone through a window of a store on Main Street, and Watertown Police seek information about the incident. Police believe the vandalism to Bling Boutique occurred in the early hours of Wednesday, Jan. 5. We are seeking info on a vandalism that occurred at Bling, 104 Main St. Believed to have happened during early morning hours today (1/5).
