There’s plenty going on in Watertown’s food and drink scene, with a new beer garden, a restaurant headed to a bigger space, and a newish restaurant getting the attention of regional media.

Parents and neighbors of Watertown’s three elementary schools will get to see what is in store for their buildings during the upcoming renovation projects, and they will have a chance to give their feedback.

Cradles to Crayons® is proud to announce two new hires at its Boston site. Katherine Amoro joins as Director of Major Gifts and Marguerite Dowd as the new Director of Operations. The nonprofit organization equips children from birth through age 12 who live in homeless or low-income situations with the essential items they need to thrive. The addition of these experienced professionals is designed to help Cradles to Crayons advance its mission and support more children and families across the Commonwealth.
A plan to redesign the Mt. Auburn Street/Common Street intersection would create 10 more parking spaces in that area, but some businesses in that area would lose the parking spots in front of their stores.
