Pair of Brothers Arrested After Threatening Bus Driver

The MBTA Transit Police arrested two Waltham brothers who threatened a bus driver at the Watertown Yard on Galen Street when he refused to let them on the bus.

A new ordinance approved by the City Council prohibits restaurants from automatically including plastic utensils with takeout orders, however customers can request these items when they order or pick up their food.

An effort to teach students and teachers about Dr. Martin Luther King’s nonviolence teachings that began four years ago at Watertown Middle School has now spread to all the Watertown Public Schools. Organizers hope that the program can get regular financial support to keep it going.
