Police Log: Stolen Credit Card Used for Shopping Spree, Window Broken at High School

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Dec. 31, 1:12 p.m.: Police received a call about a man sleeping in his car and officers responded to check on his well being. They found the man in his car asleep at the wheel and he had open beer bottles, including one in the cup holder of the center console. Police awoke the man and performed field sobriety tests, and he passed all of them.

Police Log: Man Attacked After Following Car Home, Driver Busted on OUI

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests
Dec. 17, 1:23 a.m.: An officer patrolling in Watertown Square spotted a vehicle in the left turn lane on Main Street go straight when the left arrow was green by the light for straight was red. The officer followed and saw the vehicle weave over the center line multiple times. The officer pulled over the driver on Arsenal Street and observed signs of intoxication.

Police Log: Man Busted for 3rd OUI, Three Generators Stolen from Store

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. 
Arrests
Nov. 12, 3:05 p.m.: A samaritan called police to report a possible drunk driver on Howard Street. The person followed the car and, when police arrived, pointed thev vehicle out. Police found the vehicle parked and the driver asleep at the wheel. Officers woke the man and they smelled a strong odor of alcohol.

Uber Driver Arrested After Yelling at, Refusing to Cooperate with Police

Two Uber customers had a less than satisfactory ride when their driver was arrested after he yelled at police and refused to cooperate when he was pulled over, last week. On Nov. 11, at 1:15 a.m., an officer patrolling on in Watertown Square ran a routine registration check on a vehicle heading westbound on Main Street. Records showed that the owner of the vehicle, Glenn Gaines, had a suspended license, said Watertown Police Lt. James O’Connor. “When the officer got to the car there were three people in the car, and the driver was an Uber driver,” O’Connor said.
