Dozens of Local Students Earn Honors at Several Colleges & Universities

Many Watertown students made the honors list at their college or university, another was part of an award winning project and one graduated. Among the colleges were UMass Amherst, Tufts, Emmanuel, Simmons, WPI, Wentworth, Wisconsin, Hamilton, Holy Cross, Minnesota, Salve Regina, William & Mary, Saint Anselm and Miami University. Watertown Students Make Dean’s List at 5 Colleges, Graduate from 2 More

Assumption University

Assumption University has announced that Isabella Sadkowski, of Watertown, Class of 2028, has been named to the University’s Dean’s List for the fall 2024 semester. Students named to the Dean’s List must achieve a grade point average of 3.5 for a five-class, 15-credit semester to be included on the prestigious list, which is announced at the completion of the fall and spring semesters.

Watertown Students Earn College Honors at Le Moyne, Dean, Hofstra, Plymouth St., Norwich, URI & SNHU

More than a dozen Watertown students earned honors at their college. The schools they attend include Le Moyne College, Dean College, Hofstra University, Plymouth State, Norwich University, University of Rhode Island, and Southern New Hampshire University. Le Moyne College

Lucy Romano, Freshman Marketing and Business Analytics major from Watertown, MA, has been named to the Le Moyne College Fall 2024 Dean’s List. To make the list, students must achieve a GPA of 3.5 or above. Located in a suburban setting on a picturesque 160-acre campus in Syracuse, N.Y., Le Moyne College is one of only 27 Jesuit colleges and universities in the United States.

Watertown Students Earn College Honors at Bates, Lasell, Wisconsin, Miami U., and MassBay; One Graduate

Dozens of Watertown students made the dean’s list and president’s list at Bates College, Lasell University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Miami University, and MassBay Community College. And a student graduated from Fort Hays State. Bates College

Lily Lambo of Watertown, Mass., was named to the dean’s list at Bates College for the fall semester ending in December 2024. This is a distinction earned by students whose grade point average is 3.92 or higher. Lambo is still considering a major at Bates.

Lauren A. Rae graduated from Western New England University with a MS in Applied Behavior Analysis. The graduate ceremony was held on Sunday, May 19, at the MassMutual Center in downtown Springfield. More than 350 graduate students received their master’s, law, and doctorate degrees from its Colleges of Arts and Sciences, Business, Engineering, Pharmacy, and School of Law. Watertown Students Make Dean’s List at Several Colleges in Spring 2024 Semester

Students from Watertown earned academic honors at several colleges and universities in the spring of 2024. The following information was provided by the institutions:

William & Mary

Liam McCurley from Watertown, MA was recently named to the Dean’s List at the College of William & Mary for the spring 2024 semester. To achieve Dean’s List status, a full-time degree seeking undergraduate student must take at least 12 credit hours and earn a 3.6 Quality Point Average during the semester.   

William & Mary is the second oldest institution of higher learning in the United States. Plymouth State

Plymouth State University recognizes 379 students who made the Dean’s List for the Spring 2024 semester. To be named to the Dean’s List, a student must achieve a grade point average between 3.50 and 3.69 during the Spring 2024 semester and must have completed at least 12 credit hours during the semester, at least nine of which must confer grade points, at the time the lists are finalized.
