Police Log: Home Broken Into, Car Missing from Auto Repair Shop

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. There were no arrests this week. Incidents

March 16, 4:02 a.m.: A man was driving eastbound on Main Street when he saw two males walking across the street. Then he heard a loud bang. He stopped and saw the two males wearing dark clothing running away.

Police Log: Man Arrested for Indecent Exposure, Car Bought Online had Been Stolen

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

March 2, 7:11 p.m.: A driver went up on the curb on Nichols Avenue at Bigelow Avenue and when police arrived the woman behind the wheel appeared to be passed out. The vehicle was facing the wrong way, and the motor was running. Officers had to bang on the window to wake the driver. The woman admitted to drinking before driving, and police found five empty 50 ml bottles of Smirnoff pineapple vodka on the front passenger seat.

Police Log: Possible Home Break-in, Man Tries to Steal Water Heater

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Feb. 24, 11:04 p.m.: Police pulled over a vehicle near the intersection of Edenfield and Main Street for an equipment violation. The car had a brake light out and a license plate light out. After looking at her record, police found the driver had a suspended license and outstanding warrants.

Police Log: Car Stop Yields Two Arrests, Vandal Hits Multiple Cars

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrest

Feb. 3, 9:14 a.m.: Police spotted a driver who they knew was wanted on a warrant and pulled her over at the intersection of Robert Ford Road and Philip Darch Road. There was another woman in the car, and when police checked her record they found that she was also wanted on a warrant. The driver, a 43-year-old Watertown woman, was arrested on the warrant from Waltham District Court for possession of a Class B drug and assault and battery on a police officer, and was cited for having an expired inspection sticker.

Police Log: Detectives Recover Stolen Items in Sting, Thief Foiled by iCloud

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Jan. 22, 1:02 p.m.: An officer spotted a driver going the wrong way down Edward Road, which is a one-way road. When they checked the man’s record, police found he was wanted on two warrants issued by the Wilmington Police Department for traffic offenses: unlicensed driving and speeding. The 48-year-old Nashua man was arrested on the warrants.

Police Log: Woman Scammed by Man Posing as Soldier on Facebook, Multiple Packages Stolen

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

Dec. 11, 10:23 a.m.: An officer spotted a man driving on North Beacon Street who was known by police to have a revoked license. The vehicle was stopped and police confirmed that his license was revoked. The 53-year-old Belmont man was arrested on a charge of driving with a revoked license.

Nov. 10, 11:08 p.m.: An officer on Arsenal Street spotted a vehicle traveling without its headlights on. The vehicle was pulled over near Watertown Square. The driver did not have a license and he gave a false name.

Police Log: Man Falsifies Inspection Sticker, Bus Rider Who Fell Asleep Arrested on Warrant

The following information was provided by the Watertown Police Department. Arrests

April 8, 10:40 a.m.: An officer monitoring traffic on North Beacon Street ran the plate of a vehicle and found that the owner had a warrant for his arrest. The vehicle was stopped and the officer confirmed the owner was driving. The 42-year-old Brockton man was arrested on the warrant from Quincy District Court for multiple motor vehicle violations. April 8, 2:26 p.m.: A man was seen placing groceries into a reusable shopping bag at Stop & Shop on Watertown Street, and leaving the store without paying.
