Watertown Falls to St. Mary’s in Girl’s Basketball Round of 8

LYNN — The season ended Thursday night for the Watertown High School’s girls basketball team, which could not keep pace with Parochial powerhouse St. Mary’s in the Round of 8 of the Div. 3 State Tournament.

A Funeral Service for Marie Janet Brueggeman will be celebrated on Saturday March 12, 2022, at 12 Noon, in the MacDonald Rockwell & MacDonald Funeral Home. A daughter of the late Edward & Barbara (Walton) Beaunoyer, Marie passed away Friday afternoon. She was 71. She was the loving mother of James J. “JJ” Brueggeman & his wife Susanne of Watertown. Beloved grandmother of William & Timothy Brueggeman.

Community Preservation Committee Will Hear About Proposed Projects

The Community Preservation Committee (CPC) is evaluating project applications for Community Preservation Act (CPA) funding and applicants are presenting their projects to the Committee in the areas of outdoor recreation and community housing. 

Watertown Boys Basketball Team Heads to Round of 8 After Resounding Victory

It took some time for the members of the Watertown boys basketball team to find their shooting touch, but when they did the Raiders rained down the three pointers and put away North Reading in the Round of 16 MIAA Div. 3 State Tournament game Tuesday night.
