Man Caught in Watertown With Drugs, Firearm; Also Had Warrants in Boston, California

Watertown Police arrested a California man on drug charges and warrants after the Boston Police tipped them off that he was staying at a hotel in Town.

A new ordinance approved by the City Council prohibits restaurants from automatically including plastic utensils with takeout orders, however customers can request these items when they order or pick up their food.
Watertown Police arrested a California man on drug charges and warrants after the Boston Police tipped them off that he was staying at a hotel in Town.
In a time when gyms, exercise studios and other health and fitness business are struggling, a local business group have made it easy for Watertown residents to find local options.

School officials are optimistic that Watertown elementary school students will return to classes part time in a hybrid model beginning Oct. 27, and the middle school could go to a hybrid model weeks earlier than originally planned.

Bikeshare company Lyft Bluebikes opened its latest docking station at Arsenal Yards with some fanfare last week. It is the fourth in Watertown with three more planned, and Town officials say they have already drawn a lot of interest.
Henry Zeytoonjian
Henry Zeytoonjian, a devoted member of the St. James Armenian Church in Watertown who was also well known to the residents of a condo complex in town, died on Oct. 14, 2020.

The Watertown Senior Shuttle Bus is back on the road for grocery shopping. Due to COVID-19, the bus is limited to 4 riders plus the driver. Masks must be worn. Rides are now scheduled by appointment only. Call the Senior Center on Fridays from 8:30 AM to 1 PM to schedule your ride for the following week.
