The Massachusetts Water Resources Authority will be reactivating a water pipeline in Waltham and Watertown on Monday, July 27, 2015, according to an announcement. This work may cause discolored water for a day or two in Watertown in the area South of Main Street, and in Waltham in the area South of Main Street and East of Bright Street to the Watertown line, according to the MWRA. No pressure loss is expected as a result of this work. If discolored water does occur, it will result from a small amount of iron in the pipes.
