Sweet Treat Raising Proceeds for Ukrainian Relief at Watertown Restaurant

City Works in Watertown is serving Syrnyk, a Ukrainian cheesecake, to raise money for World Central Kitchen.

The following announcement was provide by City Works:

To support relief efforts in Ukraine, City Works Eatery & Pour House, located in Arsenal Yards, will offer guests Syrnyk, a sweet and rich Ukrainian cheesecake, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting World Central Kitchen (WCK). The cultural dessert staple will be offered beginning May 4.

The Mosesian Center for the Arts will hold its annual fundraiser on Tuesday, May 17. “After having to cancel 2020’s benefit and stream last year’s event online, we’re thrilled to be holding the 2022 Annual Benefit & Mosesian Awards in person again,” said Executive Director Darren Farrington.

Watertown Little League Opening Day Celebration Extra Special in 2022

Opening Day Ceremony for Watertown Youth Baseball, Softball and Challenger leagues looked much the same as previous years, with a parade led by a Watertown Fire Engine, burgers and cotton candy, and young players yelling “Play ball!” But the smiles were wider and the sun felt a warmer during the 2022 celebration.

Watertown Teen Honored by City Council for Reaching Eagle Scout
