A four-bedroom Colonial near Oakley Country Club sold for the highest price on record for a single-family home in Watertown.
State Rep. Candidate Debate to be Hosted by Watertown News, Watertown Cable
In the first of two debates for races in the Sept. 1, 2026 State Primary, the candidates for 10th Middlesex State Representative will appear in a live televised debate on Watertown Cable Access Television. The debate is co-sponsored by Watertown News.
Developer Looking at Turning Old Mill Building into Residential Building with Retail Space

The large brick building facing the Delta in Watertown Square could be turned into a mixed-use building with six stories and 285 residential units and space for 6,000 sq. ft. of ground-floor retail.
City Council to Hold First Discussion of Watertown Square Project, Including a Parking Garage

A resident walking along the Charles River in Watertown spotted a trash bag with a dead cat inside, Watertown’s Animal Control Officer reported.

The Historical Society of Watertown will host two events in town, including a tour of one of the town’s oldest homes and an author speaking about one of the most powerful women in Plymouth Colony.

Building Committee Narrowing Sites for New Watertown High School Soon

The final decision on the site of the new Watertown High School is still months away, but the final list of places to be considered will be decided by the end of February.
