Proposed Five-Story Building on Water Street is Second Phase Life Science Complex

Boston Development Group submitted the plans in early August. The developers seek a special permit with site plan review for a proposed building at 99 Water Street with five stories (four in some places depending on the grading). It would have 224,000 sq.

Watertown Cable Offering Series of Fall Workshops

WCA-TV has exciting news – Fall Workshops are just around the corner! From learning how to edit in Adobe Premiere to hands-on experience with our field cameras, lighting kits, and studio equipment, there is a workshop for everyone! Starting this season, there is a new format to WCA-TV workshops:

Brand new Orientation Workshops are available on Monday, September 12th and Monday, October 24th at 6 p.m. These workshops will give a brief overview of WCA-TV, our services and offerings, and a basic training on our field cameras, so you’ll be able to check cameras out right away! An Orientation Workshop is required to sign up for subsequent workshops. Sign ups for all Fall Workshops begin on Monday, August 29th.

Martial Arts Studio Moved to Watertown & Will Hold an Open House

Wu Dao Kung Fu & Tai Chi has been around for years in Cambridge and recently moved to Walnut Street in Watertown. The studio will welcome the public to an open house. “We are having an Open House on September 17th, from 1 p.m.-3:30 p.m. We will be featuring a Lion Dance, as well as demonstrations in Kung Fu and Tai Chi from some of our students to celebrate our move to 125 Walnut St. in Watertown as well as our 15 year anniversary!” Wu Dao Kung Fu & Tai Chi announced.

Check Your Precinct Location Postcards, They May be Incorrect

The City of Watertown sent out postcards to residents in precincts that will be voting in a different location from the previous election. However, many of the cards show the incorrect information. Facilities at Watertown’s Casey Park Closed for Renovations

The Casey Park baseball diamond, basketball courts, tennis courts and multi-purpose rink will be closed from August 22 thru August 28 for renovation. The dates might be fluid depending on the weather and other other such items.
