M. Bernadette (O’Donnell) Corbett, born August 7, 1924. Loving daughter of John (Jack, “Pop”) O’Donnell and Margaret (“Ma”) Hession O’Donnell (both deceased); widow of John F. Corbett (deceased 1999); mother of Peter, Marybeth, Stephen, David, Philip and Tim; mother-in-law of Tobie Atlas, Lee Corbett, Mary Callahan and Jesus Alvarez Piñera; grandmother of Alisha Elliott, Noah Atlas, and Bernadette, Stephanie, John, Eamon and Una Corbett; great-grandmother of Natalie Elliott. Dear sister of the late Claire Olsen, Janet Aucoin, and Arlene Durkin. Bernie was born in Swampscott, Mass, and moved to Watertown in the eighth grade, where she attended St. Patrick’s Grammar School and High School.

Nancy R. (Blair) Dota, a longtime resident of Westford, age 81, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 1, 2020, at Apple Valley Nursing Center in Ayer. She was the beloved wife of Frank N. Dota with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. She was born in Watertown, MA on January 8, 1938 and was a daughter of the late Malcom and Margaret (Sullivan) Blair. She graduated from Watertown High School in 1956

Nancy was employed for many years as a Lab Technician at Teledyne, Inc. Nancy was very athletic and enjoyed being outdoors and swimming on Nabnasset Lake. She loved spending time with family and friends and hosting family gatherings at her home.

A Funeral Mass for Gertrude Catherine (Creedon) Broderick will be celebrated on Monday December 30, 2019 in the Church of Saint Patrick – Watertown at 12:30 p.m.

Mrs. Broderick, a daughter of the late William J. and Gertrude C. (Boylen) Broderick, passed away at the Meadow Green Nursing Facility, Waltham, on Christmas Eve, December 24 after many years of declining health. She was 93. Gertrude was born in Boston and graduated from Girls Latin School, Boston. She went on to graduate from Emmanuel College, class of 1948 and received her Master of Arts in Teaching from Harvard/Radcliffe in 1949. She taught at Newton High School and became the Principal of Newton South until 1968.

Evangelia Kounelis, Dec. 12, 2019. Evangelia Kounelis, September 3, 1918 – December 17, 2019. Evangelia (Balouri) Kounelis was called by the Lord on December 17, 2019 at the age of 101 years young, plus 105 days. Until her final moment, she was lovingly attended to in her Watertown home of over 55 years, by her only child, Angeline “Angie” Maria B. Kounelis.

A Funeral Mass for James A. “Jimmy” Dicker will be celebrated on Monday Dec. 16, 2019 in St. Patrick Church, Watertown at 11 a.m.

Mr. Dicker passed away suddenly Wednesday morning December 11th.  He was 69. Jimmy was known for his infectious smile and laugh. As a loving “Beepa” he faithfully attended all of his grandchildren’s events and celebrations and never missed a family get together. Jimmy proudly wore his neon yellow vest every morning as he helped the children of Watertown get to school safely.

A Funeral Mass for Michael Aiden Cullen will be celebrate on Thursday, Nov. 21, 2019 in St. Luke Church, Belmont at 10:30 a.m. Mr. Cullen passed away in his Watertown home on Friday evening after a time of failing heath. He was 97. He is the beloved husband of the late Anna L. (Colarusso).
