Three Watertown Wrestlers Moving on After Successful Sectional Meet

Wrestlers get pointers from WHS Wrestling Coach Kevin Russo at a recent practice. The Watertown High School wrestlers hung with some of the best in the region at the MIAA Div. 3 Central Sectional Meet, with two wrestlers taking third place, and three qualifying for the Divisional Meet. Raiders Roll in First Round of Field Hockey State Tournament

Senior Ally Kennedy scored a hat trick against Tewksbury in the first round of the State Tournament. Watertown High School’s field hockey team quickly took the suspense out of Thursday’s state tournament game against 16th seed Tewksbury by tallying two goals in the first 2:02. The Raiders won the first round matchup 6-0. Senior Ally Kennedy led top-seeded Watertown’s powerful offensive display, scoring a hat trick in the first half, including the first two goals.
